River Cottage Rocks Baking Bliss Round up

It’s been a pleasure to host River Cottage Rocks on behalf of the lovely Jo over at Jo’s Kitchen this month. Apologies for the slow round up – I am launching a new blog soon, so there has been some work going on behind the scenes.

River Cottage Rocks is a new blogging challenge, hopefully we’ll be able to get more and more people to participate as time goes on. We’ve had some wonderful entries this month – here they are:

Jayne over at Made by Jayne made these delicious honey and peanut bars. Although they were very sweet, they look lovely and quite deceptively wholesome!

Caroline at Cake Crumbs and Cooking made some delicious cookies which look very tasty indeed. I love the flavours Caroline used.

Jo at Jo’s Kitchen made some very pretty fairy cakes – perfect to take to a party. I’m really keen to get my hands on a copy of Pam Corbin’s River Cottage cake book too!

And finally, here’s my entrya good old coffee and walnut cake, which went down a storm. I’ve since made it twice it was such a hit!

Thank you to everyone who has taken part. See Jo’s blog next month for the next challenge!

  1. What a great round up, if it’s anything to do with seafood I’ll try to join in next month!

All look delicious. Like the new blog, it’s nice and simple and not too cluttered. Particularly like your header photos – very nicely done.
